Experienced Retail Manager Wanted
Do you have three to five years of retail experience? Can you motivate and direct a diverse sales staff? Do you love technology?
FirstTech Computer, the region's leading Apple Computer Reseller, is looking for a Retail Sales Manager. Ideal applicant has a college degree, with emphasis on business and communications, is familiar with computer solutions for both home and business (preferably Macs), and has good skills interacting with both customers and staff.
This position requires good organizational skills and a commitment to excellence. Job includes recruiting, staffing, and coordinating as well planning and implementing marketing goals.

Apple Field Support Technician
FirstTech Computer, one of the best Apple service and support centers in the country is currently looking for experienced Apple Support Technicians. You must love all things Mac and have a strong desire to share that love with the world. You will travel the Twin Cities and surrounding areas bringing joy and peace to both consumers and professional Mac users. You must have extensive knowledge and experience supporting all versions of the Mac operating systems and all the major Mac applications.
Specific skills needed:
- Reliable transportation to travel the Twin Cities area
- Enjoy working independently
- Enjoy supporting lots of different customers
- Great customer interaction skills and the ability to get along with everyone
- Ability to explain technical issues so that normal people can understand
- Working knowledge of major Mac applications like, Quark, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office, Retrospect, iLife, iWork
- Experience with OS X server
- Experienced setting up routers, switches and other network related equipment
- 2 plus years officially supporting Apple computers, but a life time of using them
- Knowing that Leopard is not just an animal but the best operating system available
Bonus skills that earn you extra points:
- Apple certifications for Operating system, desktop and laptop repair
- Some experience with Microsoft operating systems and PC’s in general
- Interested in learning how to repair Xerox printers
- Ability to bake chocolate chip cookies
