Unique to FirstTech is our inventory of Certified Pre-Owned Macs, iPods and iPads. Also included in this list are special purchases of end-of-life models, store demos and open box models. You can be confident of each machine's quality as each device is technician certified by running full Apple diagnostics and comes with a 90-day FirstTech warranty (For $99, you can upgrade to a full year warranty).

Meet Keith

You'll meet Keith when you bring your Mac in for service. A Triage Technician, Keith will be the first to take a look at your computer and get you on the road to restoring your Mac to tip-top shape. "It's rewarding being able to help people here."

At home, Keith uses his Mac mini and iPad for programming beats and mixing. Before FirstTech, Keith worked as a teaching assistant at the Minneapolis Media Institute.

What's something interesting about Keith? He grew up in Wyoming riding dirtbikes and shooting guns.
Meet Sophia

Sophia comes to FirstTech from the Apple department at Microcenter where she spent the last 3 and half years. She raved about the team atmosphere at Firsttech, “plus we have really good prices on everything here.”

Sophia has a 13-inch MacBook Pro she uses for schoolwork, iPhoto and gaming. Her favorites are StarCraft, Diablo and of course Plants vs Zombies.

What's an interesting fact about Sophia? “She used to have a horse named Gypsy.”
Meet Dana

Dana has the honor of being our newest FirstTech staffer. But don't let her hear you calling her a newb. This Apple Product Professional has worked at both Best Buy and Micro Center. When asked how FirstTech compares, she said, “FirstTech is way more personable. You get to help the customer all the way, not hand them off.”

Dana has a 13-inch MacBook Pro she uses for Pinterest and streaming movies with Netflix. Of course as a student at the U, she uses her Mac for her schoolwork. Dana is studying Wildlife Conservation and mentioned the Isle Royale wolf population study as being particularly fascinating.

What's an interesting fact about Dana? "I'm a twin. I have a twin brother.”
Meet Miles

You'll see Miles' smiling face on the sales floor helping customers navigate their many technology options. "I've always been a techie," he said with a laugh. Before joining FirstTech, Miles worked in the electronics department at Target.

At home, Miles uses his MacBook Pro for music production—he does a little recording on the side—as well as photography. He says plugging his portable into a large cinema display gives him a nice studio feel to his workplace.

What's something most people don't know about Miles? Even though Miles is one of the nicest guys you'll ever want to meet, he has his dark side. "I really enjoy late night bike riding. It's sort of an urban exploring thing." Okay, as far as dark sides go, riding your bike in the dark is not so bad.
Meet Jesse

You'll find Jesse on the FirstTech sales floor helping customers. “I really enjoy the low pressure environment that FirstTech offers,” he said. Before FirstTech, Jesse was a private music instructor, teaching guitar and composition.

At home, Jesse plugs his MacBook Pro into a Thunderbolt display and runs his home recording equipment through them. He uses Logic and Reason recording software to record and shape his music. “The Mac lets you focus on being a musician, instead of losing time on making it work.”

What's something most people don't know about Jesse? “If I could have done math—I was really bad at it—I would have gone into astronomy instead of music.”
Meet Matt Hedgepeth

Matt, an Apple Sales Professional, has been using Macs since 1992 and has been assisting customers here since 2005.

At home, Matt is using his 24" iMac to create iMovies of his six year old son Max's exploits.

What do most people not know about Matt? He enjoys modifying his VW GTI.
Meet Nick Gerads

Nick is an Inside Sales Specialist and would love to help you find exactly the right solution for your technology needs. “For real, I like to interact with someone and help them. It goes both ways though, I learn a lot from each customer.”

At home, Nick is using his MacBook Pro for video editing with Final Cut. He also is into gaming with Team Fortress 2 being his current favorite.

What's one thing most people don't know about Nick? He has played guitar for ten years in metal bands.
Meet Louis Guzman

Louis has been with FirstTech for three years as an Inside Sales Professional. He started using Apple computers in the late '80s on a Centris 650.

Today, Louis is using two MacBook Pros at home to make, record and mix music. His favorite app? Logic Pro. "It's very user friendly—definitely a professional grade application."

What's something most people don't know about Louis? He has worked at the Children's Theater Company as a sound tech.
Meet Paul Grubb

A Mac user since 1985, Paul is FirstTech's Retail Lead. What Paul really enjoys is the process of discovering and identifying what system is right for each individual customer. His favorite app is Final Cut Pro because of the way it completely revolutionized video editing.

While Paul loves his 27" iMac, he says, "I love my iPad. The longer I have it, the more I use it."

What's one thing most people don't know about you? "I'm a very good ukulele player."
Meet Terp Evans

Terp has been with FirstTech since 2005. You'll find his smiling face on our retail floor helping our customers. “I believe in the products we sell—I even have an Apple tattoo. I also believe in local businesses.”

Clearly drinking the Apple Kool-aid, Terp lives the brand at home. He has the top of the line MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone and is using a Mac mini for a media server.

What's something interesting about Terp? He loves old school roller skating and disco. “None of that inline crap. I'm talking quad skates, with two sets of wheels evenly spaced.” Terp is also fluent in American Sign Language.
Meet James Griffith

You'll find James on our sales floor—most days with his beloved iPad tucked under his arm. He has been at FirstTech going on four years.

At home, James also has a 24" iMac, a MacBook Air and Power Mac G5 tower. What does he do with all that computing power? iMovie, editing photos and playing games. Intent on taking over the universe, StarCraft II is James' favorite game.

What's one thing most people don't know about James? He is tremendously interested in history, especially cold war era Russia.
Meet Justin Cowen

You'll find Justin on our retail sales floor. “I love working at FirstTech because I enjoy helping people who are excited about Apple—that and the free coffee.”

At home, Justin has a MacBook Pro and a PowerMac G5 tower. He uses the tower for music production and graphic design, while he uses his laptop for his DJ gigs."

What's an interesting fact about Justin? “I won the DJ of the year award last year and travel around the country to DJ in clubs. I'm all about building the party.”
